Oh dear how time flies by so fast that it never ceases to amaze me on how technology grows and evolves on such short notice. August 20 2008 @ the leipzig games convention germany, Sony took the liberty of unveiling the rumored psp 3000. Well it looks like a psp 2000 but what counts is whats on the inside. It incorporates a built in microphone for use with skype/go messenger and a better screen! No more playing in the shade coz now you can also play under bright areas! awesome!

Oh and the silver ring at the back is replaced with a thinner ring due to the fact that the old ring is a friggin scratch magnet! Hopefully this will eliminate the need to put an extra screen protector a t3h back of the unit. It will launch on october 15 for 199 euros (yep applicable only to european territories as of now) bundled with games such as fifa, ratchet and clank etc. etc. you know the packages being offered today at the malls? exactly the same. Expect the psp 2000 to drop prices when the holiday season kicks in, should drop to more or less 6 to 7k depending on the package.
