the 3ple story is about Jordan’s undominating performance, Lebron’s In-Game Fly high, And Garnett’s emo reflexes. I got the videos you watch them all!Ü

SI’s Chris Ballard wrote a story about a post-Wizards era Michael Jordan that received a bit of attention. As the story went, some mutual fund CEO named John Rogers Jr. had beaten Jordan in a game of one-on-one at the legend’s high-end “Flight School” camp in Las Vegas. According to Ballard, there were one-handed runners and flip-shots and even Damon Wayans.

If you were in Vegas today I bet you didn’t saw a boxing match as a top betting game there. I guess you saw a UFC match featuring Brock Lesnar(one or the most Charismatic MMA fighter around today) and Randy Couture(the old guy that almost wins every underdog fights he’s into) [But not this oneÜ]. Dana White owner/manager of the most successful MMA the UFC Should be really happy that he discovered the best audience magnet fighter today, and not just good for garbage talks but fights like he talks. I know how he might have felt when the 3-1(pro-record) won the title he might be thinking “Thank God my investment paid off really fast!” and then “chi-ching!” he’s now thinking how to milk the cow and move the game to a bigger stage!

NBA Intensity?!

I just can’t believe this… One KG is playing mind games (taunting) a young PG(Jose Calderon). Which by the way in a regular season with KG’s level in the NBA hierarchy is not even worth thinking…..

And the second thing is that… Jose just got back at KG by making a great pass to Kapono and jawing KG back….

Yao wish he was taller.Ü

Rampage Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva on UFC 91

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (28-7 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has begun preparations for a UFC 91 fight with Wanderlei Silva (32-8-1 MMA, 2-3 UFC).

Sources within Jackson’s new camp at the Wolfslair Academy said that Jackson has agreed to the Nov. 15 bout and has already begun a six-week fight camp with the U.K.-based team.

However, the UFC has yet to announce the bout, and neither fighter could publicly confirm the match-up.

The Jackson-Silva bout will likely serve as the co-main event to UFC 91’s headline fight of UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar. The fight card, which also includes Kenny Florian vs. Joe Stevenson, takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Jackson, who faces two felony (and four misdemeanor) charges stemming from a July hit-and-run and subsequent police chase in California, will return to competition for the first time since the bizarre incident and his recent split with longtime trainer and friend Juanito Ibarra. Under Ibarra’s guidance, Jackson had won six consecutive fights, which included a first-round TKO of then-champ Chuck Liddell in May 2007, before his May title loss to Forrest Griffin.

Final Farewell to Evan Tanner

http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2008-09/42244536.jpgAt the age of 37, Evan Tanner passed away late last week due to extreme heat exposure in the Southeastern part of California. A month prior to his death, Tanner blogged online about his upcoming trip to the desert.

“I plan on going so deep into the desert, that any failure of my equipment could cost me my life. I’ve been doing a great deal of research and study. I want to know all I can about where I’m going, and I want to make sure I have the best equipment.”

He talked about the trip as he did with any of his other adventurous journeys in life — with the same kind of curiousness, excitement, and throw-caution-to-the-wind spirit that personified who he was as a person and as an MMA fighter.

Lyoto Machida out of UFC 89

With original opponent Thiago Silva injured and with the Ultimate Fighting Championship unable to secure a new opponent, light heavyweight contender Lyoto Machida (13-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) has been pulled from the UFC 89 fight card completely.

His manager, Ed Soares, said that UFC VP of Talent Relations Joe Silva expects Machida to return in December or January.

More than likely, Machida, who most recently defeated Tito Ortiz for his fifth consecutive win in the UFC, won’t get a title shot in his next fight.

With his stunning knockout of Chuck Liddell this past weekend at UFC 88, Rashad Evans secured the next shot at current champ Forrest Griffin’s belt. And, even with the new layoff, Machida is unlikely to face the winner of that fight — not until he gets another victory, anyway.

“I think we’ll definitely need to win one more before [Machida] gets a title shot,” Soares said.

A body was found Monday near the remote desert campsite where former UFC middleweight champion Evan Tanner vanished days before.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship said on its Web site late Monday that the body was indeed that of Tanner. But authorities have not confirmed the identity of the dead man, according to sheriff’s Lt. George Moreno.

A helicopter pilot spotted the corpse in a rugged area of Imperial County near the California-Arizona border, Moreno said.

End of Road for Chuck Liddell?

ChuckLiddellUFC88Post.jpg

Rashad Evans knocked out Chuck Liddell with a brutal punch to pull off a stunning upset tonight at UFC 88 in Atlanta.

It was the best moment of Evans’ young career, a powerful right-handed strike directly on the chin in the second round. That right hand firmly establishes the undefeated Evans as one of the up-and-coming stars of the UFC, and potentially a light heavyweight title contender.

On the other side of the coin, the loss was Liddell’s third in his last four fights, and it raises the question of whether The Iceman,  long UFC’s biggest star, still has anything left. One of the most accomplished fighters in the history of the sport may be nearing retirement.
